Congratulations to the 2017 Burke-Divide Electric Cooperative Scholarship winners!

 

Burke-Divide Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarship

Brianna HonrudThis year’s recipient of the $500 Burke-Divide Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarship is Brianna Honrud.  Brianna is a senior at Powers Lake High School and is the daughter of Robert and Joni Honrud of Powers Lake.

 

Brianna participates in many activities at school and in her community including basketball, volleyball, FFA, choir, FBLA, and her church youth group.  Brianna has served in leadership roles in these organizations and has earned several awards throughout her years of participation.

 

Brianna plans to study Business Management and play basketball at Bismarck State College in the fall.  Brianna aspires to one day own her own business.
 

 

 

 

 

 

Basin Electric Power Cooperative Scholarship

Anne JohnsonAnne Johnson and Kylee Nelson are each recipients of a $500 Basin Electric Power Cooperative Scholarship.

 

Anne Johnson is a senior at Kenmare High School and is the daughter of Larry and Melinda Johnson of Kenmare.

 

Anne participates in many activities at school and in her community including basketball, volleyball, Close Up, Envirothon, FFA, student council, church worship team, piano, and the North Dakota Boy’s and Girls’ Ranch Therapeutic Riding program.  Anne has served in leadership roles in these organizations and has earned several awards throughout her years of participation.

 

Anne plans to study Equine Science and Health Sciences at the University of Minnesota--Crookston in the fall.
 

 

 

Basin Electric Power Cooperative Scholarship

Kylee NelsonKylee Nelson is a senior at Kenmare High School and is the daughter of Mark and Michele Nelson of Kenmare.

 

Kylee participates in many activities at school and in her community including basketball, volleyball, band, choir, FFA, Science Olympiad, 4-H, rodeo, youth group, piano, and the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association Veterinarian Mentorship program.  Kylee has served in leadership roles in these organizations and has earned several awards throughout her years of participation.

 

Kylee plans to study Animal Science, Equine Science, and pre-veterinary medicine at North Dakota State University in the fall.
