Operation Round Up grants awarded
The Operation Round Up Board recently awarded six grants totaling $4,000 to area organizations.
The Noonan Rural Fire Protection District was awarded $1,000 to purchase new breathing apparatus. The Divide County Historical Society received $1,000 to use towards purchasing and installing an air conditioner for the lunchroom.
The Crosby Blue Line Club was awarded $500 to use towards the purchase of a skate sharpener. The Powers Lake Civic Club received $500 to purchase additional flowers for Main Street and local parks for the all-school reunion being held this summer.
The Divide County Library was awarded $500 for its summer reading program. The Donnybrook Rural Fire District received $500 to purchase new fire hoses for its trucks.
