Burke-Divide Electric has hired Derrick Handeland, Hunter Koble, and Jake Gieser as temporary apprentice lineworkers. These temporary lineworkers will work up to 1,000 hours assisting line crews with outages and summer and fall construction and maintenance projects.

Derrick is from Kenmare and is a 2024 graduate of the electrical lineworker program at Bismarck State College. Derrick enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. Derrick works with the Columbus linecrew.
Hunter is from Washburn and is a 2024 graduate of the electrical lineworker program at Bismarck State College. In his spare time, Hunter enjoys bow hunting, pheasant hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his dog. Hunter works with the Kenmare linecrew.
Jake is from Mandan and is a 2024 graduate of the electrical lineworker program at Bismarck State College. Jake enjoys fishing, riding dirt bike, and playing volleyball in his spare time. Jake works with the Crosby linecrew.
