Burke-Divide Electric Cooperative is seeking applications for the annual Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C.

This Youth Tour was founded with a singular vision: to inspire the leaders of tomorrow. Since its launch in 1964, over 50,000 young Americans have seized this remarkable opportunity provided by their electric cooperatives.

The event takes place in June, when hundreds of electric cooperatives nationwide send participants to Washington, D.C., for an enriching week filled with education about the cooperative business model and various sightseeing adventures.

While in the nation’s capital, participants will have the opportunity to meet their state’s congressional delegation and engage in discussions about important issues affecting their communities. Youth Tour has undeniably evolved into an invaluable program, offering young Americans an experience that will leave a lasting impact on their lives.
