Tom Rasmusson retired Jan. 17 after an impressive career spanning over 31 years with Burke-Divide Electric Cooperative (BDEC). Throughout his tenure at BDEC, Rasmusson held various roles, including lineworker, line foreman, contractor coordinator and operations laborer.
Looking ahead, Rasmusson plans to rejoin the operations department part time during the 2025 construction season, where he will assist with project staking and map updates.
His dedication and commitment to the cooperative, its members and the surrounding communities have made a lasting impact within the cooperative’s service area. As Rasmusson embarks on this new chapter, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for his years of service and wish him a retirement filled with joy and fulfillment.
